Introducing BODYSWAPS' first non-executive director: David Ripert
We're pleased to announce that our long-term friend and advisor David Ripert has officially joined the team as a Non-Exec Director.
David is currently co-founder and CEO of Poplar, Non-Exec Director for Save The Children UK and Sadler'sWells and President of the VRAR Association for the UK.
A long-term term believer in immersive technologies, David is fully in line with BODYSWAPS's purpose: “Having worked at companies of all sizes, from Fortune 500 like Google and Netflix, to startups like Poplar Studio, I’ve seen a common thread in their need to constantly train up their people, so that they could build their soft skills and empathetic leadership. As a digital and XR professional, I believe that VR is going to be the main way we will collaborate and train at scale, particularly in today’s world. I have been truly impressed by Bodyswaps’ team and they have a platform that is paving the way forward for the industry."
David's hawk-eye strategic skills, down-to-earth straightforwardness (and deadpan sense of humor) make him a pleasure to work with and we're excited to see what this new collaboration will bring about.
