The journey

To provide a holistic learning experience, this Pathway is split into four chapters: Feeling Calm & Confident, Speaking with Confidence, Crafting Your Answers, and Interview: Landing the Job. Each chapter focuses on essential skills and confidence-building exercises to prep students, job-seekers, and those returning to work with key soft skills to succeed at interviews.

Chapter 1: Feeling Calm & Confident - 35 mins

This chapter helps learners overcome speaking anxiety and stage fright, building confidence and composure in high-pressure communication scenarios.

Chapter 2: Speaking with Confidence - 50 mins

Chapter 2 focuses on fostering communication skills through immersive, hands-on practice.

Learners engage in a realistic debating, tracked for clarity, conciseness, and non-verbal cues, then gain perspective by viewing their performance from another's point of view before receiving feedback.

They also hone impromptu speaking by experimenting with vocal variety using a real-time audio visualiser.

Chapter 3: Crafting Your Answers - 45 mins

Chapter 3 guides learners in defining their career non-negotiables – the core motivators and preferences that shape their work life.

Virtual coaches Ashley and Abeeku lead a self-reflective quiz exploring personality and work style. 

They then illustrate how to effectively communicate these insights to employers.

Chapter 4: Interview: Landing the Job - 30 mins

Chapter 4 introduces the Job Interview Simulator (JIS), a deluxe AI-powered tool for refining interview skills through customisable roleplays.

Educators can tailor scenarios by defining roles, uploading descriptions, and generating or editing interview questions, along with controlling settings like environment and interviewer personalities, and incorporating assessment frameworks.
