Goals
- Integrate VR across the College.

- Expose students to virtual work placement scenarios to show what they can encounter in a safe environment.
Deployment
First-year students
Bodyswaps is introduced to first-year students as an introductory experience. The College encourages teachers to integrate the platform into their teaching methodologies.
Second-year students
For second-year students, the development of soft skills is prioritised and implemented in subjects like health and social care, business studies, social work, and access to nursing by intensifying the use of Bodyswaps.Results
- 85% of students said that they feel confident in knowing what to say after practising their communication skills with Bodyswaps
- 71% of students feel more confident in their communication skills
- 77% of students identified areas to improve on their soft skills
Future Plans
Future plans involve expanding the innovative programme's reach to include subject areas like sport and public services, with the aim of achieving a more comprehensive impact within the College community.
Subsequently, the College will launch staff training to enable the HR department to oversee the implementation of Bodyswaps for educators, empowering them to enhance their own soft skills.
