Overview of the initiative

The Dental Immersive Learning Research Program is a research cohort for dental, dental hygiene, and dental assisting programs, run by Bodyswaps, the immersive soft skills training platform used by over 300 institutions worldwide.

Together with a limited group of partner programs, we're studying how AI-powered simulation helps dental students master the conversations that clinical training can't easily schedule: the anxious patient, the treatment refusal, the cost discussion. Students practice with virtual patients in our new dental environment and receive personalized feedback. Your faculty co-design the study, and your program keeps the data.

No, Bodyswaps runs on desktop, mobile, tablet, and in the browser.

What does it cost?
Free for the research period. If you are interested in continuing on, you will be offered an exclusive discount on our pricing model for your time and input.

How much time does it take?

Setting up scenarios in Bodyswaps for your students only takes a few minutes.

During the program, you will have a training session, mid-point check-in, and a feedback session at the end, totaling about 2 hours of meeting time. 

What is the timeline?

Applications will close September 30th, and will be accepted on a rolling basis. 

Start Date: Anytime between now- September 30th. Programs will have access to Bodyswaps for 3 months, with final projects wrapping up December 2026.
