  • Medical Schools and Health & Social Care programmes: Supports the development of key staff-patient communication skills in a variety of situations.
  • Healthcare institutions: Equips practitioners and students with vital interpersonal communication skills to enhance staff-patient interactions.

The Scenario

Building on the first module, ‘Getting to Know Each Individual’, learners will develop skills focused on understanding, respect, and empathy. Assisted by coaches Abeeku and Nola, learners will discover how to apply these abilities in real-world situations, with AI analytics and feedback providing advice on how to improve.

objectives

Learning objectives.

Across the series of activities in this module, learners will discover how to:

  • Promote and support dignity and respect
  • Work together with individuals and those closest to them to plan their care in a way that suits them
  • Prioritise the rights of the person they’re caring for, as far as the person’s capacity allows

I can highly recommend it as a fantastic learning tool! I was very impressed with the quality of the information delivered, the level of interactivity and variety of teaching methods. Feedback is tailored to the individual responses. Lots of positive praise to increase confidence. It's a good tool to develop conversation and oracy skills too.
