The Regina Work Preparation Center is a nonprofit, charitable, community-based organisation specialising in preparing and connecting job seekers and employers.
Committed to a mission of providing services that prioritise a person-centred and teamwork-based approach, they’ve worked with over 20,000 clients since opening as a vocational rehabilitation arm of Regina Social Services in 1973.
Beginning with Let’s Talk About Race: Navigating Microaggressions, staff have also been utilising the platform to develop and build their soft skills.
Discovering that Bodyswaps was particularly effective for some of our neurodiverse clients
and clients with mental health challenges. Those who process information differently found more success in learning with Bodyswaps.
The immersive nature of the training was helpful for better conveying knowledge and skill-building
The Regina Work Preparation Center are looking to where they can further integrate Bodyswaps within their programmes, for staff and clients alike.
They’re also looking to expand their partnerships with local institutions as a way of enhancing their VR knowledge and experience that they can offer their clients.
