Brunel University of London began their Bodyswaps journey on the EmpowerEd grant, giving them the chance to experience our core skills modules at no cost to them.
They chose to pilot Bodyswaps with their student nursing associates, to equip them with interpersonal skills that are so vital for a career in healthcare
Goals

- Give students an opportunity to experience real world healthcare scenarios in a psychologically safe space.
Deployment
Integration into the learning experience
The team at Brunel University of London plan to integrate Bodyswaps as one step in their immersive learning experience, supporting the use of their immersive learning room. They plan to have students engage with Bodyswaps’ personalised experience before going into the immersive learning room where students can work with each other in a simulated scenario.
Results
After one session of our ‘Talented Teamwork’ module:
- 78% of students would recommend Bodyswaps to their peers.
- 78% of students identified areas to improve on their teamwork skills
- 89% of students increased their understanding of teamwork & collaboration
Highlights
- It’s easy for students to pick up as the integration between Bodyswaps Go and the app in the headset is very smooth.
- It really personalises the learning journey, allowing students to revisit specific learning content and practise.
- It’s easy from an admin side; managing students and their access to modules - to keep them focused while allowing them to feel they have the ability to shape their own learning.
